Some Crew is a collaborative social media startup based in Finland, bringing together skilled people with different strengths to create entertaining, funny and highly shareable content.

Some Crew is a collaborative social media project built around a simple idea: a group of friends creating entertaining and funny content together.
Our focus is entertainment and comedy, with the goal of capturing funny moments, challenges, unexpected situations, conversations, adventures and other experiences that people genuinely enjoy watching and sharing.
The main concept is to create content around interactions between friends, capturing natural, funny and entertaining moments that can be turned into engaging and potentially viral videos.
The channel can also include solo videos featuring individual team members, allowing different personalities and ideas to become part of the content when it makes sense.
The idea is to combine different personalities, skills and perspectives to create content that feels natural, authentic and entertaining.
Rather than relying on one person to do everything, we're building a team where everyone contributes in their own way — whether that's coming up with ideas, writing scripts, filming, editing, being on camera, or helping grow the business behind the channel.
The goal is simple: Create amazing content, build an incredible community, and grow our channel and business together!
We're building a social media entertainment channel focused on comedy, group dynamics and viral moments.
The exact formats can evolve as we learn what our audience enjoys.
A successful channel needs more than people who appear on camera. We want to build a team where different people can contribute their strengths while working toward the same goal.
Make the content happen.
Turn random ideas into content.
Turn footage into something people want to watch.
Bring the personality.
Build the business behind the channel.
These roles give the team structure, but members are encouraged to contribute in other areas when they can. Someone might primarily be an editor but also appear in videos. Someone might primarily develop ideas but help with filming. Someone might be a presenter who also helps develop concepts.
The goal isn't to create rigid departments. The goal is to make sure the important work gets done while allowing everyone to contribute where they're strongest.
To keep the project moving, every active member is expected to contribute at least 8 hours per week.
This is the minimum commitment during the early stage of the project. Members are welcome to contribute more than 8 hours when they have the time and motivation, but anything above 8 hours is optional at this stage.
8 hours every week is more valuable to the team than 30 hours one week and nothing the next.
The channel isn't based on one person assigning tasks to everyone else.
Bring concepts, jokes, formats and opportunities to the table.
Work together to choose the ideas worth turning into videos.
Coordinate people, locations, equipment and production.
Film, edit and publish consistently across platforms.
Look at audience reactions, performance and feedback.
Learn from every upload and keep developing the format.
These are just some inspiration channels that demonstrate what can happen when personalities, content and teamwork come together.

A creator group built around personalities, collaborations and entertainment.

A strong example of how a creator group can turn individual personalities and interactions into a large entertainment brand.

Another example of a creator collective combining different personalities, content formats and individual creators under a shared brand.
Bring together people with complementary skills, personalities and a shared interest in creating entertainment content.
Develop ideas, film content, edit videos and begin publishing consistently across our chosen platforms.
Study audience reactions, views, retention, engagement and feedback to understand what people enjoy.
Double down on successful formats, improve production quality and build a recognizable channel identity.
Once the channel has sufficient reach, explore sponsorships, advertising, affiliate marketing and other revenue opportunities.
Use the revenue and audience to improve the content, expand opportunities and potentially grow the team.
The project is being built collectively, and profits generated by the channel will be shared among active members based on their contribution.
Profit shares will be calculated based on the hours contributed by each active member. Members who contribute more hours can receive a larger share of the distributable profit.
YouTube advertising revenue, TikTok / platform monetization, brand sponsorships, affiliate commissions, partnerships and other channel-related revenue.
Every active member is expected to contribute a minimum of 8 hours per week. Additional hours are optional and can contribute to a member's eventual profit share.
Worked hours should be recorded consistently so everyone understands how the profit-sharing calculation is made.
Payouts will be distributed according to an agreed schedule once the channel generates distributable profit.
The goal is to keep the system transparent and fair for everyone involved as the channel grows.
The exact payout schedule will be agreed upon by the team before the channel begins generating significant revenue.
We already have people with different skills, equipment and experience that can help us get started.
Our current members already bring production experience and equipment that can help us start creating content.
Some of the equipment and resources are currently owned or available by individual team members and can be used for the project when needed. These are not necessarily assets owned by Some Crew itself, but resources that members can contribute to the production.
These resources give the team a starting point for filming and producing content without needing to build the entire production setup from scratch. As the channel grows, the team can continue adding equipment, skills and resources where they are needed.
We're looking for people who want to build something rather than simply participate occasionally.
A group of friends.
Different personalities.
Different skills.
One channel.
One shared goal.
Create something entertaining. Build an audience. And see where it takes us.
